After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the artist moved to France, where she joined the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris (2022–present). Her inspiration comes from everyday life and from nature.

Artist Statement:

“For me, art is a quest — a form of inner freedom. It is a way to engage in a sincere dialogue with the world while exploring what often remains invisible: vulnerability, resilience, and the quiet strength that emerges in moments of loss or transformation. In my work, I aspire to convey the inner strength of a person — this ability to transform wounds into wisdom while preserving tenderness and beauty. My portraits are psychological spaces: they go beyond the mere representation of faces and become places where memory, emotion, and the unconscious intersect. My art draws on art history and the old masters, which I reinterpret through a contemporary and subtle language. These echoes of the past provide a means of exploring timeless human states through a modern perspective. I see art as a constant process of discovery — of oneself and of the world. It allows us to recognize fragility, to welcome it, and to extract from it a renewed strength.”
