Born in Ankara, Turkey in 1998, the artist completed their undergraduate studies in the Sculpture Department at Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts, graduating with high honors. Based in Ankara, the artist continues to produce work in their own studio. At the core of their practice lies the human figure and states of human existen- ce. The human position within nature, emotional experience, death, and the uncertainty surrounding what comes after death constitute the main axes of their artistic production.

In their sculpture and drawing practices, the artist approaches the human body at times through a traditional perspective, and at other times through bodily fragments. The forms they construct using remnants of once-li- ving organisms and botanical elements collected from nature render visible the fragile, singular, and transient nature of human existence. Drawing from the cyclical structure of nature, the works address states of inward turning, rooting, and "turning the inside outward" as both spiritual and material fields of re-existence.
